I spent this past weekend in Boston, Massachusetts visiting my friend Joanna who goes to Wellesley College. Our time was spent walking around, experiencing the nightlife and going to Outside the Box which is a nine day free concert event held at Boston Commons. The event started on the 13th and the very last concert we saw was called Welcome to Earth which comprised of artists from 78 different countries coming together to inspire audiences with their music. It was very cool. There were African, Asian, European and American influences in each song. I suggest you go to www.rotu.com to check it out.

I also went to Mike's Pastry in the North End I believe and got 2 cannoli's that were divine! It's a must get treat while in Boston. (I cheated on my healthy eating diet here but it was worth it). Joanna was also trying to convince me to move to Boston after I graduate and who knows, I might do it. It seems like there is so much culture here and "its a city for young people" as my friend Dan told me.

Lastly, I didn't know this but Dunkin' Donuts is EVERYWHERE in Boston. Joanna said it was started there. It's literally on every corner and even though coffee makes my stomach hurt, I kept getting the iced caramel latte [It hurt so good]. I even got it when I went to South Station to wait for my bus to go back to Baltimore. This trip was so much fun apart from the sweaty man who I sat next to on my bus ride to Baltimore. I understand he was a big man, but us little people like our space too. Anyways, I don't feel like stopping my travels yet. I miss being in Denmark and just exploring. I'm going to try to go to the beach before the school semester starts and also Hershey Park in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
