Supernatural Salsa Dancing

I just bought my ticket for Denmark today! Thank you Orbitz.com for providing me with the cheapest ticket possible.

And of course the Olympics are almost over! Every time my family watches it with me, they tease me by saying that could have been me up there. This is my reaction to their comments -__-. besides the Olympics, t there are two others things that I seem to be obsessed with and they are Supernatural and Salsa Dancing!

Supernatural

This show is currently on their 8th season with the Premiere coming October 3rd if I am correct. The show airs on the CW and follows Sam and Dean Winchester on their journey to basically save the world from monsters, angels, and the devil.  These boys have been scratched, cut, stabbed, and even died but they still keep fighting the good fight just so the world can keep going. They are essentially superheros but without the recognition. They've covered everything from the big bad wolf to bloody mary and vampires. One of the main reasons why I love this show isn't because the main characters are attractive, but it's because they use tales from every belief so it's so much more than stories we were told as children including those of the Bible. The way the writers intertwine these stories with real world problems is astounding to me. I must warn you though, this show has a tendency to be scary, funny, dramatic, heart-warming and inspirational. So if you don't like any of the things I listed, don't watch it.

My next obsession: Salsa Dancing

I've been going to classes with my brother whom is AMAZING! I didn't believe it until I saw him dancing. I guess there IS a dancer in the family but it sure ain't me. Though I'm not very good, I will get better I promise you that. I'm pretty sure we are going again tonight and I'm excited! I just need to get the proper shoes and I will be set. I've decided to take Salsa classes that my school offers that way when I'm back in town, I can show everyone my awesome new moves.


I encourage everyone out there to keep trying new things because how else will you know you aren't good at it unless you've tried!

Thought of the Day: They should add dancing to the Olympics, that would be wicked cool!

Rain Rain DON'T Go Away!!

So it has been cloudy for a couple days now and while at work this morning, it rained! So what do you do when it's raining and you hear thunder. Close down the pool and play some volleyball with the other guard! best volleyball game of my summer!

Let's see what have I been up to since my last post....well I went to a few parties where people got fucked up! And I now work at the Glendale/Peoria pool in the mornings so I can get more hours!

Hmm well I can't think of anything to write about which Nailah says it means it's time for me to do something new, I think she's right! And she just got a new job so CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'm like super excited for her because she's wanted a new job for a while now, like a REALLY long while now.

And she also told me I should do recommendations for people so here are some:

TV: If you want to be a detective, lawyer or know how to throw a party, then the show Franklin and Bash which is on TNT  is the show for you! It follows 2 lawyers who take on not-so-normal cases and just do the most outrages things in court to prove that their clients are not guilty and trust me, this show will keep you smiling and laughing! Though TNT is all about Drama, this show hasn't proven to be so "dramatic" to me which to be honest is a nice change. It's just about 2 guys who truly love what they do and enjoy it.
*I actually had a dream that I was a lawyer after watching this show.And for all the ladies out there, Bash is pretty cute :)

YouTube: my brother's friend started an African news type of station on YouTube and it's not bad. Her name is Adeola and you gotta check her out here is one of her videos. WATCH THE WHOLE THING, I promise you will laugh or at least giggle.

Music: Aiden Grimshaw was on X Factor in 2010 and made it to the finals but never won. He is 20 years old.  Born in Blackpool which if you are like me, and geography isn't your best subject, that's in North West England (thank you Google!) Alright here is one of his songs, enjoy :)

Summer Hair!

Hello there! Its definitely been a while since I've written something but that's what happens when life gives you lemons..because you can't write with lemons. Everyone knows that!

Here is the poem I was talking about:

When it's my time to go, I hope to leave with a smile.
When it's my time to go, I hope to leave happiness.
When it's my time, I hope to have given you all my love.
When I have passed over to the other side,
  do not weep for me for I will have gone with a smile.


Smile that I have lived a good life, given love even to those
  who didn't deserve it,
Saved a life even if it was a bugs, and contemplated on even the most childish thoughts as "does he like me?"


Do not weep for me though you may want to for the world is 
   already drowning in a river of tears from the living.
Instead, smile and laugh so the sun has time to dry that river.
Remember, do not weep for me when I die because I will have gone
    with a smile :)
