Long day

What a long day its been. I worked from 7:45-14:00. Then came back to move my belongings from my summer housing to my fall housing from 14:00-17:00. Then went to go teach two of my friends how to swim from 17:00-18:30. Then went back to moving things. Then I went to an end of summer employee appreciation event that my work set up...we went bowling and there was free food from 21:30-11:00. Then I came back to move even more things from 23:30-2. My roomates and I were told through email yesterday that we had Wednesday through Friday to move into our new housing. Well we got an email this morning saying we need to vacate our room by Thursday noon because our summer room needs to be cleaned before the new Resident Assistant moves in on Friday. Short notice?! YES!! my roomates and I are 1) angry that we have to move in a day and 2)very tired now from moving. We didn't move everything because we emailed the housing director with this concern and she said to have at least the kitchen and bathrooms all cleared. This still isn't any better. So, in total, we moved everything in the kitchen, all my bedroom things except my plants which I will be getting tomorrow and a lot of one of my roomates belongings. And by a lot, I mean A LOT! She just has so much clothing and other stuff with her, its pretty incredible to see it all. I on the other hand like to travel light because I don't see the point in having so many things.

All this moving has made my biceps burn with pain from all the heavy lifting. Thank goodness I didn't work out today!

Ok, time for bed. I've got ANOTHER long day tomorrow. I'll be going non-stop from 8am-9:30pm.

Sorry for any grammar mistakes. I'm just exhausted.

Earlymorning

6:30am and I'm up. Why? I'm going to go workout with a friend of mine. We are running 2 miles to the fun and then doing leg weights. It's time to get back into the old routine of early morning workouts!

Oh and Hershey Park was so Mich fun! I'm scared to death by roller coasters but I get on them anyways because they only last at most 30 seconds and I might as well do it. Ok, time to go and put on my workout clothes. I'll speak more on the park on another post.

Hershey, PA

So I am currently about to board a Greyhound bus going to Pennsylvania. My bus is at 9 so I woke up this morning at 6 to get ready and go take the bus which was supposed to leave at 7:15. I get to the bus stop 10 minutes early and a half hour later, it's still not here. I'm panicking because I need to cancel my current ticket to get a one way because my friends parents can drive me back to Baltimore. Side note: I am going to visit my friend Meredith and going to Hershey Park! So I try calling a cab but that doesn't work either. Then I go to my last option, I ask my roomate to give me a ride. It was my last option because she's been giving so many people rides lately that I don't want her to think I'm using her for her car. So I wake her up and the sweetheart she is gets up and drives me to the bus station. (Shoutout to my roomie Abby).

Now I'm on the bus and it is PACKED! Literally every seat is taken and there are the most interesting people on here. I'm sitting next to a young man who plays the guitar, an old woman reading a book on her iPad, a couple and their 3 year old daughter who won't stop crying, a man who just had back surgery and a woman who wants to sit down but the man who had the back surgery won't let her sit next to him (now remember, that's the only seat available). This should be an interesting 2 hour bus ride, especially since its raining.

The whole seat situation has been figure out. Apparently the seat was taken by the man's bag which he couldn't put overhead because of his back surgery...if I would have known about the bag, I would have just put it overhead for him.
